Swara Bhasker Comments On The Investigation In Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Case; Says Unfair To Suggest That Mumbai Police Was Being 'Unprofessional'
After the Supreme Court ordered CBI Probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, Swara Bhasker came out in defence of Mumbai Police and stated that it is unfair to call them 'unprofessional'
It was a big day yesterday for all the fans and well-wishers of late Sushant Singh Rajput who demanded a CBI probe in his death case. The Supreme Court ruled out in their favour and ordered the investigating body to take over SSR's death case. Ever since then, fans, friends and family members of the Kai Po Che actor are lauding the Supreme Court's decision on social media. However, actress Swara Bhasker in her latest interview has come to the defence of the Mumbai Police and stated that it is unfair to call them unprofessional.
Talking to Pinkvilla, Swara Bhasker was quoted saying, "I don’t think it is fair to suggest that the Mumbai Police were not doing a good job or were not being professional. I think that there is a problem right there that we did not trust the Mumbai Police, we should have. We have no reason to doubt their conduct. I hope the CBI will now be allowed to do their job in a fair and impartial manner.” She further went on to add that the courts, judicial systems and the police should be allowed to their job.
Yesterday, as the Supreme Court gave out its order, it mentioned that Sushant Singh Rajput was a talented actor who died well before his time. An excerpt from the order read, "The actor Sushant Singh Rajput was a talented actor in the Mumbai film world and died well before his full potential could be realised. His family, friends and admirers are keenly waiting the outcome of the investigation so that all the speculations floating around can be put to rest. Therefore a fair, competent and impartial investigation is the need of the hour. The expected outcome then would be, a measure of justice for the Complainant, who lost his only son."
